Buffalo Arts Publishing and Photography (BAP)

BAP was established in 2011 as a sole proprietorship.  A Western New York native and photographic artist, I'm an exhibiting member of the Buffalo Society of Artists and the Western New York Artists Group.  My background in computer science and technology, coupled with an interest in local art, uniquely qualifies me in pusuing my objective to preserve some of the creative legacy of established WNY artists.

 

This effort began in earnest in early 2010, when I decided to photograph as many works of art by the expressionist artist, Edward G. Bisone (...a dear friend of ours, who passed away in June, 2016), as could be located.  Over 1000 high resolution digital images were made of Bisone's art over the course of 15 months, with 200 of these images appearing in a limited edition book printed and sold to art collectors.  This led to the establishment of BAP, and the consequent publication of additional books featuring Buffalo area artists and writers.
